Gundam Echowarrior by EchoWing Gundam Echowarrior by EchoWing
The centerpiece mobile suit of 'Gundam Wing: Master Legacy'. Back when she was rebuilding the Gundams, Alex decided to build herself one, integrating ideas from the other five into one powerhouse machine. It was seriously wrecked a little later on in the storyline, then rebuilt and modified. This is the modified version, the Gundam Echowarrior Nova.

The initial armament on this guy consisted of banks of missiles in the legs and back wings, along with a pair of custom hip-mounted beam sabers called 'Beam Excaliburs', as well as gatling guns mounted in the arms, the standard 'Vulcan guns' in the head, and a powerful gun called the Nova Cannon. Due to its heavy weight, it could only fly for short periods in Earth's atmosphere without experiencing severe damage, and had to rely on a flight booster in order to stay aloft for long periods. Further enhancements included stealth technology based on the Hyper Jammers from the Deathscythe, and eventually a ZERO System and a Mobile Doll Advanced system.

After the upgrade, it was given a new head, and the back-mounted wings were replaced with a Minovsky Drive system to allow for rapid movement and free flight in the atmosphere, thus making the flight booster obsolete and allowing for the 'Wings of Light', fancy beam-based wings that could serve as oversized swords and shields as well as propulsion. The wing-mounted missiles were moved to the shoulders, extra gatlings were added to both arms, and the Nova Cannon was replaced with the Twin Nova Cannon, which included beam bayonets.

It was destroyed for good in the final installment of the storyline, though Alex was in another MS at the time.

Thanks. I'll admit, the design in my head cribbed a lot from earlier stuff, but I'm a lazy git. Still, the artist did a great job.

This is really well done! All the tiny little gadgets and details, really add to the design. Looks exactly like a robotic design that would come straight from the series, great job!

I wish I could take credit for the artwork itself, but the idea for the mecha is definitely mine. Albeit with heavy inspiration.

i hope you do not feel offended but your gundam is the upper body wing zero custom and legs look like heavy arms custom the other parts appear to be original customizations of your own and look quite impressive

I don't feel offended at all; I asked the artist who drew this to keep them in mind when he did the actual drawing...the Wing Zero elements at least. The Heavyarms elements he most likely came up with on his own.

Thanks for the comment and favorite; much appreciated.

If you mixed and matched the parts of the models you could totaly make that.

Yeah, you could. Unfortunately, I lack the resources and the drive to actually do that.

Which really, really sucks.

Yeah, I always enjoyed it...then a lot of people complained that it was ridiculously overpowered and...well...it stopped being fun to write about.

pssh! To hell with what other people think. There are always complainers, trust me. There are just people out there that, if they had their way, no one would get to enjoy anything ever because it didn't suit them *personally*. I think your idea sounded really cool myself :)

Thanks. Nice to see not everyone is hyper-critical.

Still, they kinda had a point on some things. Two pilot interfaces plus advanced AI made a few people uneasy. But I liked it. :-)
