Updates About Delays

Fri Jun 6, 2008, 7:48 AM
Well, I've been back with my grandparents for a while now taking the driving course. Haven't done any actual driving yet, but I'm getting there.

No progress on 'Question Authority', and I fear I'll be delayed even more on that. Gonna try and write an entry for a contest that's starting up - they're due in early next month, so the sooner I get it done, the better.

Still, delays. Never fun.

I can't drive either.... so now we are two ^^;
Theory always comes first before you get down to itp practically, although you'd be surprise at how easy driving can be since you tend to pick up things our parents do when they drive.

Hey, better a good delayed one than an ugly rushed one.

Well, here's hoping I've picked up a lot from my folks - they're pretty good when it comes to driving.

And thanks for the vote of confidence. Be warned, I may go the same route as the last one and send you what I've got done already - I've a feeling the next one's gonna have a lot of stuff to iron out.

Excellent. You're going to want to check your e-mail then.

I wish you luck and I'm sorry for the unfortunate delays. I hope things turn out better in the end.

I have so many friends and co-workers that don't drive. I could never understand it. I would feel trapped if I had to constantly rely on someone else to cart me around town or if I were a slave to the schedule of public transportation.

One of the greatest moments in my life was turning the key in my first car, a 1977 El Camino, and stepping off the school bus permanently. No more hour long rides on the bus!
So do I, though I'm having some serious second thoughts about that contest entry...

Well, sometimes people are just lazy. That's my problem sadly.

That and knowing the instant I get a license and a car, I'll be running errands for everyone else...
