Eight Years Later...

Eight years ago, I was fifteen, and had just finished up a round of standardized testing at school when I heard about the attacks in NYC and DC.

Today, I'm chugging down a large Coke at a McDonalds in Crawfordsville, trying to sort out a massive backlog brought on by my grandparents' lack of Internet access.

Amazing what does and doesn't change, isn't it? Now if only I could get some crap done and make it stick...and if only some Marine could blow bin Laden's brains out...

Consider yourself lucky. Me, I didn't know anyone who died personally, but it doesn't make what happened any less terrible.

And as long as he's not shooting at anything alive, he can have his machine gun fun.
