The blessings of a change in management.

Well, after several weeks of delaying, I finally sat down and watched Series 3 of Torchwood.

I won't spoil. I will say this easily - it was exciting. It was scary. It had one of the more frightening aliens seen in the Whoniverse thus far. But it also could have...and probably should have...gone much differently. I like drama and all that, but I have no fondness whatsoever for death simply for the sake of it.

Suffice it to say, I'm suddenly very glad that RTD is passing the torch on for Doctor Who. The Sarah Jane Adventures has been, and promises to be, very entertaining, but I feel like Torchwood is a bit too unrestrained.

And I'm not tired about this - I'm disappointed. Dang DA issues as always.

I feel the same way- after having a friend bought me the 3rd season- I was not a happy camper at the end... the story was good though.

I haven't seen Dr. Who however since the 10th Dr came about??? So shhh no spoilers. Too expensive to buy- no one here rents it, and I don't get the channel it comes on. *sighs*

Yeah...I'm halfway debating means of spiting RTD in my own little way. Might go through with it, I dunno.

As for having not yet seen any of Doctor Who since Tennant came onboard, do what I did - get it from the public library. :-)
