Employment Still a Maybe

Went in for the job interview today. The good news is, it's a nice place, they expect to have a lot of people hired for seasonal work (which lasts until January at least!), and of the three people who came in for the group interview, only two showed up. The bad news is of the two people who showed up, the second one (who's worked in interior design and has a couple degrees connected to it) is infinitely more qualified than I.

Short version - if I don't get a phone call from them in a week, I probably don't have the job. And the soonest I can expect the call is in a couple days.

*crosses fingers*

Crossing fingers for you. You never know sometimes the more experience means they require more pay, so the business may go with you instead, happens a lot. Good luck.

Thanks. I'll give them a call after a week, however - the possibility exists that someone over there could end up being lazy or misplace my name or something.
