So close I can smell the hot cider...

No, I'm not talking about Christmas. At least, not proper Christmas. We don't really celebrate anymore thanks to my dad; he's a Grinch. And a Scrooge. A Scrinch?

Anyway, I'm pleased to say that my adaptation of the Equestria Girls Holiday Special, entitled "Wherever You Find Love", is almost finished. And by that, I mean I only have one chunk of story left to write out. With luck, that shall come tomorrow.

That said, I refuse to bow to my retail overlords and release the story before December. So, seeing as it's looking to be a four-parter, I'll be putting it up starting the first Friday of December. The fourth and final part shall be posted on Christmas day.

After that, I'm taking a break from my pony stuff. I've got a commitment that I need to get back to, and I need to get it sorted out as soon as possible. Once that's done, I'm back to my stuff in the hopes that I can squeeze out a short one-shot afterwards and before the year ends.

I'm just hoping I can actually manage all of that. Work is hitting me with mandatory overtime early. And by early, I mean next week. First time in three years that I've had to go in for mandatory overtime on the week of Black Friday, and I can't say I'm happy about it. I'll deal, I'll survive, and I'll get hefty paychecks over the next few weeks, but I won't be happy until I walk into my house on Christmas Eve and can declare victory.
